A S.N.A.G. is a man who has feminine characteristics such as being very timid and sensitive. He lost the core qualities of Masculine Man because he was raised by emancipated females and a society that told him, how important it is to be nice to woman. A SNAG very similar to the definition of Nice Guy or Wussy.

It's not bad to be in touch with your feelings, even as man and seducer it's often very powerful to know and recognize your emotions, but as an attractive man you have to have control over your feelings. Woman are very emotional and mostly led by how they feel, if they get weak, insecure or sad, they want a strong man to lean on. The Sensitive New Age Guy is often overly-sensitive and will end up in the friend-zone most of the time.

If you want to know more about the Sensitive New Age Guy, here is an article from a beautiful young lady: Becoming a Sensitive New Age Guy

Example

She asks: "Where shall we eat?"
SNAG: "Whatever you like, I don't mind." (Every time. About everything.)
Better: "I'd love Thai or the Italian place near the park. What do you feel like?"

The second answer is just as kind, but it gives her a real person to talk to.

What to do

  • Notice the automatic "yes" and "whatever you want" and replace it with a real preference.
  • Disagree politely when you disagree, and say "no" when you mean it.
  • Do things for her because you want to, not to earn approval.
  • Keep your empathy. Calm, clear feelings are a strength, not a flaw.

Where the label stops fitting

The term is a stereotype. Being sensitive, gentle or emotionally open is not the problem. People-pleasing is: the fear of being disliked, which shows up as neediness and often leads to the friend zone. See also White Knight Syndrome, Be less sensitive and AFC.
