Jordan Harbinger (The Art of Charm)

Jordan Harbinger studied at the University of Michigan and its law school. During law school he started a podcast about dating, and afterwards he worked at a Wall Street firm before turning his coaching into a business, The Art of Charm.

The Art of Charm

The Art of Charm began as dating and social coaching for men, with a long-running podcast that Harbinger hosted for years. From about 2015 it presented itself less as a pickup brand and more as training in confidence, networking and emotional intelligence. In early 2018 Harbinger split from his former partners, left the company and started a podcast under his own name.

The Jordan Harbinger Show

The new show is a long-form interview podcast with guests from business, science, politics and the arts. Its topics are networking, social skills, persuasion and how people behave. Apple named it among its best shows of 2018, and it was later renewed under a deal with the PodcastOne network.

Reception

Harbinger’s early work belonged to the pickup scene. Today he is known mainly for his interviews and for general social skills rather than for dating advice.
