Hey, What’s up? Where are you going?

My name is x-name… How are you?

You’re cute, are you friendly/interesting?

You look like someone I’d like to meet.

Hi, I like you. And I’d like to get to know you.

You guys are so adorable. You have such a cute group dynamic going on. I want to meet you guys.

When to use it

Use a direct opener in the daytime, when a woman or a small group is walking slowly, sitting in a café or standing in a queue and is not in a hurry or on the phone. It fits when you would rather be honest than clever. Pick one line, say it calmly with a smile and keep a polite distance so she does not feel cornered. In a loud bar at night these lines are harder to deliver.

Follow-up

If she smiles or answers, give your name and ask something simple: "I'm Alex. What are you up to today?" Keep it short and watch whether she wants to go on (indicators of interest are eye contact, questions back and turning towards you). If she hesitates or has to go, say "No problem, enjoy your day" and walk on. A friendly exit makes the next approach easier.

Why it works

Nobody has to guess what you want, so there is no pretext to get through. Saying it plainly also shows confidence, and many people appreciate the honesty. This is the core idea of direct game. It only works when the line is true for you, so choose the one that matches what you actually think.
