Getting over a Breakup with Nikki Blackketter

A breakup is something that everyone will experience at least once in his lifetime. Even the best couples break up and recently one of my favorite Youtube couple, Christian Guzman and Nikki Blackketter decided to go different ways. In this video, Nikki talks about the reasons why they split. There can be many different reasons for a breakup, mostly it’s a combination. Here are the most common reasons why couples break up and it also includes the one why Nikki and Christian ended their relationship: Growing apart in different directions.

Now it’s time to get over the breakup and most of the time it’s the woman, who suffers the most in the beginning. Women are more emotional and instead of running away from their negative feelings, they often embrace it. This gives the false impression that they are the ones who cared more about the relationship. But that’s not true, they have just a different way of handling the situation.

Men, on the other hand, are often euphoric about their new freedom and can’t wait to get out hunting again. However, after a few weeks and unsuccessful attempts they slowly start to realize what they’ve lost and how hard it is to find someone who could replace that person. Unfortunately, this feeling of regret mostly starts too late because in the meantime their ex-girlfriend managed to accept her new situation and might be over them.

Nikki is a little different than the average woman that’s why I chose her, even tho this advice is primarily focused on helping men. She’s not only good looking, athletic and successful, she’s also very reflective and smart. Her way of thinking is mainly strategic and very similar to the way most men think. That’s why I summed up the advice from her videos, which you can watch at the bottom of this article.

1. Spend time with your friends, outside in the sun.

Do more outdoor activities. If your skin is .. to the sun, your body produces Vitamin D, which increases a hormone called Serotonin. This hormone gives you the feeling of being happy.

2. Do something that excites you.

In her example, it was finding a new home to stay and trying out a new haircut. Everyone has their own things that excite them, so it’s time to find yours.

3. Boost your Endorphin’s.

They’ll alleviate pain, stress, anxiety, and depression. She went to a shooting range, other examples that help to increase your endorphin’s are running, lifting and even watching funny videos.

4. Take care of yourself.

Try to look good for yourself, it gives you more confidence, raises your self-esteem and makes you feel better. Remind yourself that you love yourself, no matter what others do.

5. Change of Scenery.

Travel, visit new places and people. Create new memories and experiences that don’t include your ex-girlfriend.

6. Good Food and Sleep.

Having enough sleep (over 7 hours) and eating the right foods is very important for your body to produce the right hormones that make you happy.

7. It’s okay to cry (even as a guy).

It’s just natural that your sad, so don’t suppress the feeling. Everyone has weak moments, being vulnerable is a feature of strong people.

8. Focus on your future

Now is the perfect time to learn more about yourself, find out why this person wasn’t the right one.
